Crunch / She -> Crunchy - These sound the same, and I think the former makes more sense, so I think we should err with the side of caution and stick with what's written.

Daddy's -> Dad's - I definitely hear two syllables.

Aden -> Aidan - I think this is the place, and not a name - the two are homonyms, so stick with the former. A quick glance at wikipedia turns up: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aden. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aden_%28disambiguation%29. Which is on the Red Sea.

An Aracan -> An American - I used to hear just 'American' until I looked at the lyrics, so I see where you're coming from, but 'An Aracan' does feel correct.

o.w. I think I agree with all your changes. Good job! --ZombieBlues 05:45, 14 October 2006 (PDT)

American

American dam is confusing for me. The Fiery Furnaces official site claims the lyric is "Naracan dam" but a search of the internet finds no such place. There is a Narracan dam but it's in Australia, not India as the song suggests.

Hmmm. Naracan's as good as anything else.

Thanks for the kind words on the rest.

- Whoops - on the a Naracan Dam is in the liner notes, but I don't have them with me. Forgot to check elsewhere. There is a city called Naracan in Azerbaijan which could possibly have a dam - it is coastal. And it is north of Madras. --ZombieBlues 04:47, 15 October 2006 (PDT)
